In the past few weeks, I've been quite curious about trying out glitter eyeliners, especially since they've been very popular during the holiday season. So when I found out that the Marcelle Lux Diamond Liquid Eyeliners were on sale at Shoppers Drug Mart, I ran as fast as I could to pick myself up the Pure Gold shade.

The Lux Diamond Liquid Eyeliners cost approximately CAD $11.95 at Shoppers Drug Mart and are available wherever Marcelle products are sold. These specific eyeliners come in Silver and Pure Gold and on a side note, if you're more interested in colored rather than glitter liquid eyeliners, then the Lux Metallic Liquid Eyeliners would be a better choice (also you could try layering the Diamond over the Metallic eyeliners for a colorful glitter look!). The Pure Gold Lux Diamond eyeliner itself is quite fluid in its consistency and I honestly can't say or rather rave enough, about how wonderful the applicator brush is. The brush is a fine tipped script style brush which lays down the glitter in a perfectly thin line along your lashes and thereby allows me to build up the thickness of the liner. The product is really quite pigmented and one stroke gave me quite an opaque "glitter line"; also it felt quite cool on my eyelid, and I'm not sure if this was an intended feature of the product and may instead be due to the clear base containing the glitter. With regards to the glitter particles, they're more of shimmers rather than large, chunky glitters and they really do add a sparkle to your eye makeup look. Now I did need some time in removing the eyeliner because when you apply a makeup-remover soaked cotton pad to the eye, the glitter does move around, so my suggestion would be to patiently remove any stray glitter particles with a moist q-tip after you've gotten off most of the eyeliner. All in all, this is another brilliant product from Marcelle and it's an affordable way to add some glitz and glamour to your next holiday party look! Check out product pictures below:
